Missed Our Live Webinar? Watch Dr. Craig Shimasaki's Insights on Neuropsychiatric Triggers Plus Our Upcoming Support Group

Hi Reader,

We’re excited to share our newest webinar featuring Dr. Craig Shimasaki, CEO of Moleculera Biosciences. In his seminar Dr. Shimasaki delivers a compelling exploration of the immunological underpinnings of neuropsychiatric conditions, weaving together the historical context and our evolving understanding of PANDAS/PANS and Sydenham’s chorea.

Dr. Shimasaki highlights the difficult journey faced by many patients using Moleculera Biosciences' Autoimmune Brain Panel, noting that they often consult five or more doctors over three to seven years before identifying the biological drivers of their symptoms.

His webinar also highlights how the Autoimmune Brain Panel™ has supported over 16,000 pediatric and adult patients worldwide for more than a decade. Originally developed from Dr. Madeleine Cunningham’s groundbreaking research on Group A Strep bacteria, Sydenham’s chorea, and PANDAS at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center, this panel now identifies neuropsychiatric conditions triggered by a range of biological and environmental factors. A 2020 study published in the Journal of Neuroimmunology found that Autoimmune Brain Panel™ markers were abnormally high before treatment but dropped within a healthy range after treatment, correlating with an improvement in the patients' symptoms. These results tracked the patient's neuropsychiatric symptoms with an overall accuracy of 86% (from 206 patients).

Spanning two decades of pioneering research at the intersection of psychiatry, immunology, and neurology, this webinar offers a clear and engaging overview of how infections can spark neuropsychiatric disorders and how early detection can lead to better outcomes.
